This solution was developed when the founders realized the reason most plugged and abandoned wells were not being addressed was because there was no clear path for those responsible to monetize these wells. Plug and Abandon was expensive, and NOT a permanent solution. This led us to our power generation solutions since we had to use the captured fuel for a purpose. The founders of Green Buffalo took their decades of industry knowledge and derived a solution with multiple clear paths to monetize these wells, removing them from the liability side of the balance sheet and moving them back to the producing asset side.
